The Mall of America was crowded, as expected on a normal weekend. One member of this crowd was a black haired teenage boy who was named Pierce, Pierce Joshua Beddingtenth. He blended into the crowd easily. Then again, that was because he looked like the average teenager. He didn't act like it. Many times he was hyper and loud.
His snapped his cellular phone closed with a loud click before continuing down the aisle between the stores. His mother had made him angry. It was something about his room, or something he could care less about. The loudness of everyone around him wasn't helping either. It was just giving him a headache. He sighed before leaving the crowd, and slipped into a small store that seemed to be selling holiday cards. It was nearly quiet in there other then the couple of older ladies looking forward to attending a grandchild's birthday that they were currently buying a card for.
In all honesty, the boy hated the peace and quiet, but what he hated more was crowds and crowds of people. He decided that the quiet was the lesser of two evils. He shook his head to get his bangs out of his blue eyes. He should have known better than to go to the Mall of America. There was always far too many people. However, it was better then staying at his mother's house with his two half sisters. He was exiled there one weekend of every month. It made Pierce feel bad about the part of never seeing his mother as much as she would like to see him. In all honesty, even though he wouldn't say it out loud, he found his stepmother was much more like his mother than the woman that had given birth to him.

A woman wearing a short, revealing black leather dress. Silver hair, wide crazed gray eyes, and deathly pale skin, caught the attention of a lot of people in the mall. People scrambled out of her way as she walked by with a wicked grin on her face.
It was loud and extremely noisy for her sensitive ears, but Isabelle Fallon was on a mission. A mission to find and spy on her darling nephew. Dark gray eyes flicked to a store called Hallmarks. Was the short boy her nephew? Ha, ha! He had inherited the short gene as well.
She made her way over to him with a bounce in her step. This was going to be fun!

Pierce looked up from reading the words on one of the cards when he heard someone approach. His eyes widened at the sight of the woman standing in front of him. Her dress was so short and revealing. He set the card back on the rack without turning away from her. His hand hit against the rack which caused all of the cards there to fall and spill all over the floor. He bent over to pick the up, trying to hide his face. The boy knew it was bright red with blush. As soon has he had the mess picked up he turned his attention back to her. She seemed too happy for just walking into a card store, far too happy. He was unsure about what to do, the woman had silver hair, and she was still too young for that for crying out loud! There was also something that wasn't right about that strange look in her eye, he noted as he looked down at her.
"Uh... do you need something?" Pierce really didn't have a clue what to say to such a strange woman.

She laughed at his blush with a grin on her face. This was going to be absolutely fun. She had made her own nephew blush. Ha, ha.
"Little nephew, do you not recognize your aunt Isy? Did mummy teach ye nothing?" Isabelle cooed to her supposed nephew.
She giggled and wickedly smiled at him. She had met him before when he had still been human. He had been about ten. Wait...human...? Dark gray eyes widened as she realized this was not her nephew. Gory Mory was going to be displeased. Pure panic enveloped her.
"Isy is sorry, Gory Mory!" Isabelle blurted out unwillingly.

"Look I may have sixteen aunts from both sides of my family, but I know you're not one of them."
Pierce could only hope that what he said was right. He looked down at the floor before beginning to think.
His father was the oldest of twelve. From that he had one blood uncle, so that means ten aunts on his father's side. The woman seemed to young to be his aunt. His uncle was the youngest of the twelve and he was twenty-one years old. His eight aunts on his mother side were all older then his mother, and the woman was too young to be any of them. Even if she was related, where had the silver hair come from? If she was related, than Pierce decided he would begin to worry about what was wrong with his gene pool.
The teenager was starting to get bored. The was bouncing from the heels of his feet and continuously shifting. He wanted to be loud and informal. Suddenly, he stopped and looked up again. He realized that the woman had said something else.
"Are you Isy, and who is Gory Mory?"

She froze as he spoke. She had to keep herself under control. No more of Gory Mory secrets could be revealed. Not even the Fallon name. She gave a fake, nervous grin at the fourteen year old boy.
"I am Isabelle Tempest, and Gory Mory is my...friend." she spoke, almost sounding sane. If not for the wicked grin plastered on her face, one would think her sane.
Friend. Ha! Gory Mory was more than a friend, but she couldn't let this mortal know that. No! She would prove to Gory Mory that she still was a decent spy and actor.

"Your name is Isabelle, but you call yourself Isy?" Pierce asked while he watched the woman. His question wasn't directed towards anyone. It was something that crossed his mind. He thought about that fact for a small moment. Soon a smile spread across the boy's face.
"Well... if you're Isy and your real name is Isabelle, than my name is Pierce, so I would be... Piercy?" the boy asked with skepticism in his voice.
He clapped his hands together quickly still smiling. If the girl wanted to act hyper than so could he if he wanted. After a while, he looked up from his state of staring at the floor.
"Who are you looking for? I could help you find whoever." A slight blush had already appeared on his face with the thought of a date. No, he shook his head quickly. It wouldn't be considered a date. That wouldn't work, the woman was too old. She was around the age of his uncle on he dad's side of the family.

He would help her find dearest nephew? What a sweetheart! Maybe, not all treatys were bad. Piercy might not be able to help her find dearest nephew, but he could help her figure out what these paper things were... Oh! And what that shiny, bright lighted, noisy room packed full of little treatys. This could be fun! Gory Mory wouldn't be to mad if she took a bit longer, would she? No, Gory Mory had never hurt her before. She had not even raised her voice at her. Isy would not be in trouble. Nope, not at all!
"Piercy? Could you tell Isy what these things are?" Isabelle pointed to the rack of cards. She continued, "I was kept in a solitude place for a long time, so I do not know many things about tre-outsiders from off of the island."
Fallon Castle was located on an unknown island. There was a centuries of spells to keep it hidden from outsiders. In other words Isy was being truthful, yet secretive. Gory Mory would be proud!

Pierce tilted his head with sudden confusion. How could someone possibly not no what a holiday card was even if the they live far away on ana isolated island? She must have been from somewhere very far away, and by far away, she must have meant far away. He thought about it for a moment. She could have been joking, but the boy decided to describe them anyway.
"They're holiday cards silly. You give them to people when there is a certain event. They make people happy!" Pierce had said the word happy with enthusiasm, and did a little jump in the air, while clapping his hands, when he said it. He was smiling. "They don't make people happy if it is an invitation to a funeral, though." His smile disappeared from his face for a moment. Then, once again, it reappeared. "It makes people extra happy when there is money in it."
Pierce took a moment to think if that was all he had to say. He realized there was something else.
"Hey Isy, what island did you come from?"

Isabelle eyes widened in happiness. See could get a card for Gory Mory! That would make Gory Mory very happy. She would need Piercy help trying to find one though... Piercy had been very nice to Isy so far. So, why wouldn't he help her find Gory Mory a card.
"Can Isy give Gory Mory a card for no reason, but to make Gory Mory happy?" she giggled.
She glanced over the labels on the rack and frowned. Yes, she would need Piercy help. Looking over at him, she pleaded, "Will you help Isy find a pretty card for Gory Mory, Piercy?"
She would have to give him something in return for his help. What did she have that was valuable? A ring, perhaps? She held up her hand. She had only three rings, including her Ancient ring.
Holding up her right hand for him to see, she asked, "Pick a ring for your help, Piercy. Just not thaty one." Isabelle pointed to the silver ring that had a black rose forever burning in blue fire engraved into it.
"Did Isy catch Piercy interest? Oh," Suddenly remembering his question, "The island is called Atrum Speculum! Gory Mory hide it herself. Gory Mory is very smart. Do not tell Gory Mory that Isy told Piercy name of island, okay?" Isabelle whispered the last thing quietly.

Pierce looked at the rings in awe. The one with the rose on fire caught his attention. He knew that the way he looked at it answered Isabelle's second last question. To his own sorrow, she said that was the one he couldn't have. It looked as though the rose was really burning. He shook his head quickly. This was crazy. It was just a ring. It was just a tiny bit of silver people called jewelry, yet it was quite stunning. The teenager sighed. The other two rings were also rather stunning, but not as much as that one. He sighed once again. No ring should be that addicting to look at.
"Hey Isy, I can't choose between the two rings. Can you choose one for Piercy?" He gave a charming smile. As he did this all his courage drifted away, the smiled disappeared, and the blush had reappeared on his face.
"What kind of card do you want to give your friend? There's a lot to choose from in here." The boy looked around the large store. There was plenty of cards to look at. Than again, it was a card store, so of course there was going to be a lot of them. As he looked around he mumbled two words. "Atrum Speculum." He decided that when he returned home he would search for information about the island on the internet. What kind of place could be so undeveloped that they don't know what a holiday card? He looked at Isabelle and began to wonder if all the residents had strange hair.

Isabelle giggled at his blush. He was so cute! She stared down at her rings. Both of the rings were given to her by Gory Mory. The one was silver and the other was gold. The silver one had a garnet in the middle surrounded by two onyxes. The gold ring had an many runes engraved into it for protection. Isabelle decided that he should have the golden protection ring. The other ring was a bit more feminine.
Pulling off the gold ring, she handed it to Piercy. With another giggle, she answered Piercy, "Just a card for Gory Mory to feel special...he he...Gory Mory does not see the sun a lot, so she a bit grouchy, Piercy. Isy tries to cheer Gory Mory, but nothing works!"
A tearful look came across her face. Poor, Gory Mory. She was always so cold! She had been like that for years now. It became even worse after Tommy died... Tommy? That was it! She could draw a picture of Tommy and put it in the card. That would work!
"Piercy? Could you help Isy draw a picture of Tommy then? Tommy is Gory Mory's dead lovy?"
Her plan had to work. Isy-belle would make Gory Mory smile even if it was her last breath. Well, kind of...

"Thank you Isy!" Pierce said clutching the ring in his hand. Even though he had asked her to choose one, he had said it to be nice. The boy had preferred that one anyway. The other was a bit too girly for him. He slipped it in his pocket, deciding that he would put a chain on it later, and would where it around his neck. It was quite an interesting ring. He left his hand in his pocket, and the teenager ran his thumb over the ring. There were things engraved at the sides. What were the things? Pierce really didn't have any idea. They were markings of some sort. It wasn't English, that was a fact. May be they were just random shopes, there wasn't a way he could know.
"Isy, why doesn't Gory Mory see the sun very much?" Pierce asked. It probably had something to do with that island they were from. It's rainy season was probably all year long, or something like that. Pierce thought for a moment. "Does Gory Mory want to be happy?"
"Isy, Piercy can't help draw Tommy I don't know what he looks like. I can promise one thing. We'll make Gory Mory happy." Pierce smiled and clapped his hands a little bit in joy.

Isabelle loved this new human boy! He played along with her so easily, and he had liked her gift! She grinned widely, though careful enough to hide her fangs. Inwardly, she was cheering and squealing in happiness. He would help her make Gory Mory happy once again!
"Isy have picture of Tommy. Would that help you, Piercy?"
She paused for a moment as she though of his two other questions. Why did Gory Mory not see the sun much? Because she was a powerful, rich vampire who did not want to leave her castle after Tommy's death, of course! She could shorten that to something a human could relate to, so he wouldn't think her crazy.
"Gory Mory does not like to leave her castle after Tommy's death. She is very sad. That is why Isy wants to cheer her up! You'll still help Isy, righty right, Piercy?"
Humans lived in castle so it would not seem to odd, would it? No! Isabelle was sure that what she had said was correct. Piercy would not think her strange. Piercy other question bothered her though. Gory Mory not want to be happy? Of course she wanted to be happy! Who didn't want to be happy?

Inside his head, Pierce wondered what he had put himself into. He let the thought go as a smile appeared on his face. It didn't matter. This was fun and enjoyable even though he wouldn't be leaving this loud, overcrowded mall anytime soon. At least that's what he assumed. He still thought the woman was gorgeous, and that thought made blush appear on his cheeks. This little word game that she played was becoming quite fun. It was addicting. Pierce was probably going to go home and accidentally talk like he was now.
"Before Piercy helps draw Tommy, we should find a card first. Maybe Isy should go find one that Gory Mory would like." Pierce found it a little strange that she carried pictures of dead guys with her. May be they would have been close like brother and sister. Although he hadn't a clue where she kept it, because her dress was so tight. There wasn't an explanation for that.
"Does Gory Mory have a lot of money?" Pierce knew the answer. It was more than likely yes. If you can afford a castle than you needed money. Maybe everyone lived in castles where she was from. He decided that was a stupid idea and pushed it out of his head.
It was strange to never leave a castle for a long time. Pierce wondered what it was like. It would probably be so lonely and too quiet. It would probably drive the usually loud teenager into insanity. Maybe this Gory Mory person was insane and Isy didn't say anything about it.
"Hey Isy, is Gory Mory insane?"
